As the Director, Digital Design & Visualization Applications within Rockwell Automation, you are responsible for leading global product management teams to offer innovative design tools, improved workflows and integration to third party design applications to speed the deployment, improve quality and unleash innovation in industrial automation control systems for our customers. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with customers, sales, engineers and senior professionals across functions; and have strong influencing and leadership skills.
The Director will be responsible for the overall growth of the business including the identification and recommendation new product development, product positioning and pricing strategies and development of an acquisition pipeline for inorganic growth aligned to business objectives. This role requires solid experience leading other leaders and motivating employees. Lastly, the role will require leadership in progressive software development practice evaluation and analysis with the ability and desire to improve processes.
This role requires strong vision and leadership to lead the Software & Control digital design & visualization business through the entire product management strategy and lifecycle. You will continuously look for ways to improve the overall practice of the organization to increase customer value, improve quality, and reduce time to market, and actively engage with Engineering, Test, Architecture, QA, customer support, sales and the broader organization. You will successfully manage, motivate and retain members of the respective business organization and participate in strategic planning to define product strategy, requirements and pricing, driving key cross-functional process improvement initiatives within the business, engineering and other organizations to increase efficiency.
