As the Director of Demand Management at Micron Technology Inc., you oversee the end-to-end demand management process. You collaborate withinternal and external partners, and provide cross-functional coordination across the sales, sales operations, and supply chain planning teams. As a senior leader, you will help drive strategy, deliver effective results, develop your team, build and maintain vertical and horizontal organizational relationships, and continually develop your own leadership and domain-specific capabilities and skills. You lead and improve the responsiveness and reliability metrics and lead programs and initiatives to improve overall performance.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Create and publish the unconstrained consensus forecast and constrained demand plan
  • Communicate regularly to executive leadership regarding the overall health of demand, changes in demand trends, and material risks and opportunities to the plan of record
  • Work collaboratively with Sales and business unit (BU) partners to establish and communicate demand priorities that support the company's strategic direction
  • Provide transparency and accountability to the forecasting and demand management processes through regular reviews of historical forecast performance
  • Establish clear roles and responsibilities across team members and drive employee development goals in alignment with corporate and functional strategic objectives and individual aspirations
  • Collaborate with peers to set strategic supply chain initiatives based on external research, performance to effectiveness and efficiency metrics as well as updates in company strategy and direction

  • B.S. degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field of study
  • M.B.A. or equivalent post-graduate degree
  • 10+ years of leadership experience leading supply chain planning, demand planning or forecasting processes
