Responsible for developing and administering data and automation strategies in order to facilitate and enhance organizational decision-making and continuous improvement across the company.
Design, execute and lead teams through a digital transformation of key business processes and systems through automation and data analytics. Identify and analyze emerging technologies, trends and opportunities for their potential to disrupt existing capabilities, digital and transformation strategies. Automate transactional processes with the goal to improve business outcomes through reimagined processes which enhance user experience and improve overall quality and drive greater productivity. Partner with the business to establish roadmaps based on continuous improvement aligned to evolving business strategy, integration of emerging technologies, and organizational capacity to manage demand. Oversee all data infrastructure and processes, including data governance and data integrity approaches. Develop the vision and strategy to provide short term and long-term data solutions to business challenges. Enable efficient, integrated, end-to-end management and delivery of high-quality data assets across the value chain through modern data architectures.
Bachelor's degree in technology, applied mathematics, statistics, economics or related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
10+ years’ experience managing technical teams preferably in an information-intensive industry or a digitally advanced enterprise.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word. Proficiency in data/information structures, modelling and technologies; data management/catalog software; enterprise content management, cyber security/privacy; record-keeping policies and practices.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners. Ability to lead a team that designs, installs and evaluates quality control methods and systems. Ability to prepare, monitor and administer budgets, as well as the ability to perform financial analysis. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to identify and/or document existing and new trend, as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization. Ability to provide subject matter expertise, counsel, and effectively influence others at various levels within the organization. Knowledge of and ability to conduct need, trend, feasibility and performance assessments. Knowledge of the principles and practices of project planning, development and evaluation as well as the ability to meet project deadlines. Knowledge of and ability to apply the principles and practices to strategically align tasks and people with organizational goals and objectives.
