Director of Cyber Engineering

Oxford Search Group (an affiliate of Management Recruiters International) has been engaged by a rapidly growing, 100% employee owned company who is seeking a Director of Cyber Engineering Services for their San Antonio office. The Director will provide project management, staff/site leadership and new business development support for they key organization Cyber Solutions business unit.

The San Antonio team currently delivers cyber engineering services to the regional San Antonio Air Force community as both a Prime and subcontractor. Current projects include: cyber tool development, reverse engineering, cyber vulnerability analysis, and vulnerability research.

The Director of Cyber will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current and prospective customers, including military and civilian government representatives as well as industry partners. This leadership position requires the ability to manage existing programs, relationships, and staffing requirements, while recognizing and pursuing organic and adjacent opportunities.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM or related technical field
  • Existing relationships within the 24AF, ARCYBER, INSCOM, USCYBERCOM
  • Experience managing relevant cyber activities: CVA, VR, RE, Cyber Tools Dev., etc.
  • Experience with both subcontractor and prime contractor relationship models
  • Experience recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new technical staff
  • Prior military or DoD civilian experience within a cyber organization
  • Business Development experience including whitepaper development, RFI submissions, client briefings, and proposal participation
  • Experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO)
  • PMP certification desired
  • Active Top-Secret Security Clearance

Required Skills/Experience

  • US citizenship with the ability to acquire a security clearance
  • Minimum of 10 years of related project/program management experience
  • Knowledge of the DoD and/or IC cyber organizations and stakeholders, especially Air Force
  • Experience managing staff as a supervisor
  • Experience as a program manager and/or task lead for on-site services projects
  • Ability to cultivate relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Effective and comfortable interfacing with customers and team members
  • The ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects
