Over the last four years, PROS has successfully transitioned from a predominantly on-premise business to a subscription-based model. While the company's revenues initially decreased in the first two years of the transition due to the financial model shift, the management team has repositioned the company to a cloud-based model to enable more innovation and scalability to achieve the stated goal: $500M in annualized revenue run rate by 2022 (implying 25% CAGR). The transition has been bearing fruit, as PROS surpassed key milestones in its cloud transformation: 100% of net new companies added since 2015 have purchased cloud solutions, revenue growth turned positive again in 2017, and free cash flow breakeven was achieved as expected in 2018.
