Our sales and marketing organization has recently reorganized itself to strengthen our ability to drive the customer?s voice into our product development process. We are looking for a dynamic and highly driven director level candidate to lead HYG?s counterbalance product planning and solutions department in Portland, Oregon. As Director, you will have the ability and responsibility to:


*Lead a team of electric and internal combustion product managers who will be responsible for the health of the counterbalance product lines.

*Lead the application engineering team such that customer and industry driven solutions are positioned and promoted for efficiency and effectiveness.

*Regularly communicate to the senior executive leadership team about the health of HYG?s counterbalance products and to report what specific activities are either underway or are needed to improve such health.

*Serve as the ?bridge? between the sales and marketing side (customers) and engineering to ensure products and solutions being developed reflect what the market wants.

*Support dealers, national accounts and end-user customers in their efforts to promote HYG?s counterbalance products in the market.

We are seeking the following qualifications:

*BS degree, engineeringdegreepreferred.

*10+ years of experience in industrial/mobile equipment in the material handling industry.

*Strong interpersonal skills and experience presenting to internal and external audiences.

*Experience communicating effectively with senior executive leadership teams.

*Ability to identify market trends though data analytics.

*Strong project management skills.

*High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
