As a Director, Corporate Sales you will be responsible for ensuring achievement of territory objectives through the coaching, development and resulting performance of a Corporate sales team. In this role, you will drive a high-performing team of sales executives to deliver on new logos and ACV booking results in a fast-growing company in a very hot sector.
We’re looking for a high performing leader with strong drive, hunger to win and a proven track record of success. You thrive on building, leading, developing and coaching a high performing sales team and will manage a team of four to six individuals. You’re an expert in managing an entire sales cycle including, discovery calls, demos, presentations, negotiations and closure. You employ a solution selling methodology (D2L has standardized on Gazing) and bring diverse experience in SaaS sales. You are hands on, lead from the front, spending time in the field, coaching and training sales executives through the sales process.
You truly lead by example. You are committed to constantly educating yourself on the product, organization and can build strong relationships both within and outside of D2L. In fact, your ability to build and use relationships at the C Suite when the deal is on the line makes you a perennial over-achiever.
