Description – Just Energy (U.S.) Corp. seeks a Corporate Director, Consumer Sales in Dallas, Texas

Requirements – 5 years’ experience with direct sales (door to door) and leading sales teams in various capacities

Responsibilities

Oversee door-to-door sales channel consisting of Regional Directors of Consumer Sales and Territory Sales Managers (TSM) to ensure sales revenue, budget, compliance, and profitability goals are achieved. Be accountable for performance of the corporate sales office and exercise managerial authority over direct reports, including executing office strategies and long-term plans to achieve performance goals, overseeing employee's attendance, training an onboarding new hires on the team, and reviewing and approving expense reports. Utilize successful experience in leading and managing large teams and strong organization, planning and management skills to effectively administer resources and services in accordance with policies and expectations to sales and compliance.

Work within budget while increasing productivity and profitability and ensuring a positive customer experience. Work with sales executives and RMFOS to set short-and long-term sales office goals, strategies, and performance objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of current sales strategies. Communicate and implement overall Just Energy business plans, strategies, initiatives and new product launches. Ensure that the office is achieving performance goals and adhering to business guidelines.

Apply strong analytical skills to ensure the required sales enablers effectively maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency. Work with regional directors and TSMS to develop daily, weekly, and long term (6-8week) routing and work plans and ensure they're executed effectively. Coach and mentor RDCSS and TSMS. Orient and train new RDCSS and TSMS. Hire and retain RDCSS and TSMS, creating an environment that fosters career growth and keeps individuals engaged. Work with corporate resources to ensure resourcing and staffing levels are achieved and maintained in accordance with the budget and forecast, drawing upon experience managing budgets, headcount and costs. Drive sales performance and compliance to company, industry and governmental standards and regulations.
