Job Description and Responsibilities
The Director of Test Engineering will lead and deliver on a technical roadmap that will provide our clients and partners with seamless access to our Debit, ATM and Reporting products and platforms. This leadership role is focused on ensuring quality across our core processing systems. This will require collaborating with partners and peers across the company to ensure highest functional and integration testing standards are maintained. This includes participating in project planning, scheduling, design reviews, and managing the test life cycle. This role involves working closely with resources across multiple geographical locations and is based in Denver Co.
Fostering the importance of quality in all aspects of the delivery lifecycle
Investing appropriately in process changes, automation, tools etc. to reduce, improve and simplify the overall QA effort for the product
Channeling your creative and innovative mindset to continually evolve and enhance the test strategy and processes
Collaborate with development team to analyze, debug and resolve design and code issues
Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration and mentoring in the team and across the organization
Work closely with multi-functional management team to plan project-based work
Manage functional, non-functional, integration and regression testing of Issuer Processing portfolio of products
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technical field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in software test or development
Experience with C++, Hadoop, Java, MVS and Linux preferred
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Technical Lead or Management role
Experience using various software development methodologies, including Agile.
Attention to detail with strong organizational and communication capabilities
Ability to prioritize with exceptional time management skills
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills with deep understanding of customer relations
Connex Advantage platform ATM CED & load configuration knowledge a plus
