Responsibilities

This role is a key position in the Consumer Bank Group Leadership Team and will be core in developing and driving strategic initiatives to ensure OneWest Bank meets the needs of the Retail Partners. This position will support the evolving needs of the Consumer Bank Group comprised of three key units: branch bankers, customer call center, and internet bankers. The role requires strong relationship skills, strategic thought leadership, analytic expertise, and effective people management skills. The essential functions of the job include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

– Responsible for leading efforts with Head of Consumer Bank Group to build relationships with customers by assessing business needs and performance through strong analytics and reporting.
– Responsible for coordination of initiatives, program tools and technology, along with all needed analytic
support
– Ownership of all field support initiatives/activities/tools to ensure the Branch Field Team has the necessary tools to drive growth
– Collaborates with internal support and partner teams to identify strategic opportunities and ensure successful execution of projects
–  Deploys business analytics to drive customer acquisition, cross-selling, and relationship-managed portfolio alignment
–  Distills analyzed data and key metrics into recommendations to help shape the prospects of the bank
–  Creates executive level presentation materials for various partner and management meetings, including internal presentations and business reviews

Oversees strategic projects that drive efficiencies, enhance revenue and control costs as they related to the Consumer Bank Group.

–  Serves as the focal point for navigating questions and issues related to the Consumer Bank Group
–  Serves as key conduit to ensure questions and issues are addressed timely and adequately
–  Leads cross functional teams assigned to drive initiatives and leverages best practice sharing across
    partner business units
–  Assesses new market opportunities and strategic initiatives
–  Utilizes organization and project management skills to drive implementation
–  Assesses and drives long-term strategic initiatives for expanding OneWest Bank's revenues

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

*  7 to 10 years business experience - bankingpreferred
*  Bachelor’s degree required / M.B.A. preferred
*  Demonstrated leadership skills, proven analytic, organizational and project management skills
*  Requires solid track record in managing complex business and partner needs
*  Must have superior communication / presentation and influence management skills
*  Must have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, across all functional
    areas, and with partners
*  Demonstrated thought leadership and strategic agility
*  Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented, intense environment
