The Director of Construction and Project Management will identify and/or manage and coordinate the implementation of major capital projects for Outrigger Hospitality Group (OHG). He/she will develop, implement and administer non-recurring capital improvement plans as assigned -- facilitate planning and design sessions; recommend and select project teams (including as needed architects, designers, general contractors, other consultants); prepare detailed development budgets and proformas; evaluate and recommend value engineering measures to decrease costs while maintaining project objectives; coordinate all phases of design, architecture and construction ensuring compliance with budgets and target completion dates; coordinate programming issue for hard construction, FF&E, budgeting, bidding, construction contracts, project management and scheduling. The Director, Construction and Project Management will also negotiate vendor and construction contracts; establish and/or update procurement policy and procedures to implement cost savings, as needed; recruit and manage project managers, engineers and superintendents as needed on a project-by-project basis. He/she will coordinate with property executives during construction phase(s); provide updates to the resorts and corporate as needed; assist resorts in the annual capital budgeting process; work with resort and corporate executives on multi-year capital plans addressing major capital areas (e.g., rooms, F&B, mechanical systems); and assist in the due diligence process for development and acquisition opportunities.
Minimum ten (10) years' experience in construction project management.
