The Job

You will get the opportunity to lead our global connected health transformation, driving business strategy, product development and brand growth through our big data platform, patient-centric portals and apps, along with healthcare provider insights. Staying connected to patients and caregivers is critical to improving long-term outcomes and bringing value to the healthcare system. As a connected health solutions team, our goal is to provide physicians with tools that simplify patient management, provide clinically meaningful insights, and improve patient wellness. For patients and families, we want to bring connected solutions to their fingertips.

The best people for this job will have recent experience within market research methodology and design along with business case identification and development. You will also need experience in competitive intelligence, scenario planning, data management and quantitative analysis within marketing, at least 7 + years. The ideal person must have the experience managing a marketing team and have product development experience (5 + years). For this, role, experience should include a combination of leading innovation-related Solutions Development and design, academic training in the areas of marketing, preferably in neurology, neuroscience, pharmaceutical or related disciplines.  You will also need to possess experience developing comprehensive product launch strategies along with a demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with various stakeholders (functions, business units, regions) and influence without authority.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Drive a culture of innovation that puts LivaNova at the forefront of connected health solutions
  • Deliver in-depth customer knowledge through market intelligence that translates clinician and patient expressed and unexpressed needs into actionable innovations, strategy, and solutions
  • Define the connected health strategy, identify market segment opportunities, and deliver a comprehensive business case that supports the growth of our technologies across multiple connected platforms
  • Develop a holistic physician and patient app adoption strategy and launch plan
  • Define features, optimize the user experience, and maintain the technical components of the platform
  • Create a content strategy that is built off of evolving user needs and manage content deployment across platforms
  • Maintain a current understanding of the evolving technology trends, clinician decision support, and patient treatment journey
  • Generate new business concepts, identify critical design principles, and develop a pipeline of innovative connected health solutions that provide value, are easy to use, and deliver better patient wellness
  • Partner with business development to identify bolt-on technologies that integrate with and elevate our connected health solutions
  • Identify data monetization strategies
  • Lead the connected health team (New Team, will need to hire and grow this team)
