DIRECTOR, COMPENSATION SERVICES

SUMMARY

Plans and directs all aspects of Service Operation’s Compensation Services including product development and service delivery policies, objectives, and initiatives. Researches new products, products enhancements, and product redesign that align the product development function with the goals of the organization. Builds and strengthens collaborative working relationships with other Insperity organizations. Understands the business context and develops plans to achieve competitive advantage. Identifies people-intensive issues and formulates plans to address them. Enables the organization to implement change effectively. Changes roles, activities and systems to achieve desired outcomes. Serves as the Process Owner for compensation services. Implements actions and process to achieve results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under limited supervision and much decision-making:

  • Directs the development of and manages the design, operation and administration of compensation products and services in order to maintain the organization’s business objectives.
  • Maintains industry best practices for human resource programs. Examines and analyzes statistical data to forecast future customer needs.
  • Consults with clients as well as service providers on compensation programs. Analyzes input/requests for future development opportunities; proposes action accordingly.
  • Through research activities and needs analyses, manages the continual upgrading of existing programs, services and plans for future client requirements.
  • Builds relationships with other Centers of Excellence and departments to form a seamless integration of service delivery.
  • Assist in the tracking of actual and budgeted expenditures.
  • Reviews and analyzes proposals submitted to determine if benefits derived and possible applications justify expenditures on behalf of clients as well as Insperity. This includes services provided through third party relationships.
  • Recommends strategies and options for core and mid-market business service models and programs.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Five to seven years of experience in compensation management field is required.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Certification is preferred.
