Job Location

The Director, Community Collaborations – North Region position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Duties

This position works collaboratively with the senior leadership team of Community Hospital North to develop and oversee community outreach, engagement, and development with the CHNw North Region. This position works in collaboration with the Executive Director of Community Benefits.


5-7 years of demonstrated experience in a community engagement role.


Bachelor degree required, preferably in Public Health, Public Affairs, or related field of study. Master’s degree preferred, preferably in Health Administration, Public Health, or Public Affairs.


  • Demonstrated ability in successful communication, collaboration, and networking skills with community leaders, community members, community based organizations, and administrative staff.
  • Team-oriented professional with proven ability to function effectively within a matrix reporting structure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to act in a creative, innovative and self-directed manner.
  • Strong writing, presentation and one-on-one communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and trends.
  • Strong project management skills; must be detail-oriented to effectively manage project implementation, budgets, details and schedules.
