Director of Clinical Services, Oklahoma Heart Institute - Medical Group

From comprehensive diagnostics to open heart surgery and cardiac rehabilitation, Oklahoma Heart Institute combines nationally recognized cardiovascular physicians with the region's most advanced technology.

Status: Full-time/Exempt. Primarily 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Requires candidate be available to attend 7:00am meetings and evening meetings as necessary.

Responsibilities: Oversee and supervises the clinical operations of the Oklahoma Heart Institute multispecialty outpatient clinics. Work involves establishing the strategic plan, goals, and objectives; developing policies; reviewing guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations; establishing priorities, standards, and measurement tools for determining progress in meeting goals; coordinating and evaluating program activities; and reviewing and approving budgets. Plans, assigns and supervises the work of others. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer.

Work Experience, Knowledge and Abilities Required: At least five (5) years of experience in providing direct patient care preferably in the areas of cardiology, sleep or endocrinology. At least two (2) years management experience. The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be skilled at managing interpersonal relationships with all members of the organization. A successful candidate will have the ability to solve problems, respond empathetically and provide direction to team members.

Education: Minimum of a Master's degree in healthcare leadership or nursing (MSN, MS, MHA or MPH).

License, Registration and/or Certifications Required: Valid Oklahoma Nursing License upon hire, Driver's License, Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
