Job Summary:      Develops the planning, interdisciplinary productivity, and evaluation of the homecare and/or hospice program. Plans, directs and coordinates all program activities.     All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Palmetto Health's values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity, and teamwork.     Responsibilities:     Provides effective leadership by coordinating and integrating services within their department, with other departments, and with the hospital's primary functions. Reviews and manages hospice and homecare regulatory changes.      Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of the services.  Develops and implements budget including processes to monitor operational and capital costs. Reviews bills, foundation fund requests, and other expense-related items.      Provides daily direction and leadership to managers and staff. Manages department human resources by determining qualifications, competence and performance expectation, planning/implementing/monitoring staffing plans, providing orientation, in-service training and continuing education of all persons in the department and applying policies/procedures pertaining to human resources management. Manages personnel changes, coaching, and corrective actions.      Continuously assesses and improves the department's performance by designing operational processes, monitoring performance through data, analyzing the data, implementing sustainable performance management, and participating in multi-disciplinary inter-departmental Performance Improvement (PI) activities. Works on department growth initiatives.      Manages information by providing information systems and data management for department operations and performance improvement. Manages hospice or homecare-related documentation changes in the Homecare Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.      Manages the environment (of care) by developing, implementing and monitoring processes to reduce and control environment hazards and risks, preventing accidents and injuries and maintaining safe condition for patients, staff, and visitors. 
Performs other duties as assigned.     Requirements:     Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.      Experience: Seven (7) years Home Care experience with demonstrated record of progressive professional leadership responsibility.     Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.     Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct supervision of approximately five (5) employees. Indirect supervision of approximately forty-three employees.     Budget Responsibilities: Develop, implement and monitor operational and capital budget of approximately $7 million. Management of funds both with and without signatory authority and/or authority to give budget approval/authority.
