JOB SUMMARY (Primary purpose of the position.)

This position is responsible for enhancing professional practice and the provision of quality patient care in assigned markets and hospitals through various clinical education activities. The Market Director, Clinical Education (MDCE) will assess, develop and provide evidence-based, quality educational programs and activities that promote professional competency for nursing. MDCE will focus on the RN residents and all new nurses hired into the organization.

Other required experience: 5 + years acute care facility

EDUCATION REQUIRED (Minimum formal academic training which typically provides the knowledge and skills necessary for successful job performance.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Master’s Degree Nursing or Education

Required: Texas RN License Required Upon Hire (for certifications only: upon hire is defined as within 2 business days of start date)


Nursing Professional Development certification through American Nurses Credentialing Center or Certified Health Education Specialist certification
