As a member of the NBCUniversal Client Solutions team, the Director, Client Solutions will be responsible for building strategic relationships within a single strategic client, specifically, focusing on the subject matter of the client’s digital business.  The responsibilities will cover all aspects across sales, product, marketing, business development, research, and engineering functions of that client.  The Director will help clients refine their ad and content measurement tools with a goal of adopting Nielsen's Total Audience initiative.  The responsibilities will include supporting existing products that a client buys, selling in existing products to clients, both syndicated and custom, and working with the rest of the NBCUniversal client solutions team and Nielsen product resources to adapt current products or invent new products to meet client needs.



  • Interface directly with clients in support of new business opportunities, client service and consultative sales programs
  • Identify, prospect and develop new client relationships and generate new sales/product opportunities
  • Work closely with internal Nielsen partners, support teams and stakeholders to deliver products, services and drive client satisfaction
  • Managing sales process from prospecting, to negotiating and closing contracts
  • Assist in the development and support of digital sales strategies across the client


Success Metrics:

  • Revenue growth from Nielsen products and services
  • Client satisfaction with Nielsen’s digital products and services
  • New client relationships and expansion of Nielsen footprint within the client 


Position requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience
  • Background in media, or marketing, preferably from a digital agency, digital media company, or media analytics firm
  • Attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines and respond to clients timely
  • Ability to operate in a fast pace environment, juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and work well with a diverse customer base and various internal teams
  • Strong presentation & communication skills
  • Experience and interest in driving sales and relationship building
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • An interest in analytics and big data
