SUMMARY:

The Director, Change Management will be part of the newly established change management function reporting to the VP, Talent and Organizational Development at Under Armour.  He/she will lead the change management efforts over large scale change initiatives at Under Armour such as changes to organizational structures, processes, and systems.  This individual will initially focus on helping the organization transform to a more center-led operating model with clarified decision rights and business governance. Establishing the Under Armour change management methodology and building internal capabilities in this area will also be a key deliverables of the role.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive change management strategy and plan for multiple large scale initiatives ensuring the coordination of efforts across workstreams

•Provide leadership support across functions to ensure work is effectively planned, integrated and executed

•Partner with external consulting firms to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to change management and ensuring a consistent end-user experience

•Diagnose impacts of organizational changes and work with leadership to build mitigation plans

•Establish and manage key stakeholder networks to ensure the effective flow of information

•Work with senior project team members and functional sponsors to define measures of success, and methods for driving leadership alignment and accountability

•Develop training programs and leverage various resources to cost effectively address skill gaps across all target audiences

•Establish strategies and plan for anchoring the changes in the Under Armour culture

•Build change management capability within the organization and its leaders

CRITICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATION

•7+ years experience managing change in complex environments

•Strong, practical, change management technical skills

•Solid business acumen and the ability to quickly learn the dynamics of the business

•Executive level communication and presentation skills

•Ability to build, sell and execute a strategic plan

•Proven track record as a credible influencer

•Ability to forge and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, including relationships with external partners

•Project management

•People leaderrship

•Understanding of the retail and wholesale industry a plus
