Responsibilities:

  • Lead KPMG Care Continuum Optimization Practice growth through insight about industry trends and customer needs; Ability to lead the following business efforts: Acute Care, Emergency Services, Post-Acute Care, Perioperative Services, Data and Analytics, CDI, Governance, Physician Solutions, and Vendor Technology Optimization
  • Run fast paced engagements of five to twenty five staff members across multiple functional domains, including directing subcontractors and off-shore resources
  • Represent KPMG thought leadership at conferences, in publications, and other growth forums as it relates to practice offerings
  • Define high growth new areas of investment to increase KPMG service offerings in the healthcare/life sciences industry
  • Monitor and communicate project status, issues, and risks as well as present summary information to clients, partnerships, and executive sponsors as needed; Able to think critically about client issues and investigate leading practices within the industry to help improve organizational maturity and sustainability
  • Participate with Leadership in strategic planning including solution development, resource forecasting, resource and team development, marketing, and pipeline development

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight years of consulting experience in healthcare industry or executive level experience working as a healthcare provider
  • Master's degree from an accredited college/university in Nursing, HealthCare, Business Administration, Information Technology, Biology & Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Experience in clinical and operational improvements, total cost of care assessments/implementations, quality measures improvements and operational flow improvements
  • Demonstrate understanding of healthcare reform and other key industry trends/drivers (Population Health Management, ACO, MU, MACRA, MIPS, ICD-10, and PCMH)
  • Strong experience with managing complex project budgets and timelines, significant stakeholder engagement and management, and understanding complex regulatory issues; Projects consist of complex clinical, quality, financial, information technology and operational projects within the Healthcare industry
  • Demonstrate ability to identify business opportunities, attract new business, and build lasting professional relationships with senior client executives and relevant skills in project management with hands-on experience
  • Travel may be up to 80-100%
