Job Requirements Bachelors required, Master's Degree Required by end of 2020 Masters Degree in Business or Other Related Field preferred.
Licensure/Certification: RN, or RCS, RDCS or RVT or CCT
Experience Requirements: 3 Years Management Required, Experience in Echocardiography is strongly preferred.
Certificates/Registration Required/Preferred And/Or
RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) Required or
RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) Required or
RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac
Sonographer) Required or
CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician) Required
For RN candidates ACLS required and PALS preferred.
Ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to improve care. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates knowledge of finances to develop, manage and maintain budgets in defined areas of responsibility. Will be required to provide oversight at other system locations for particular area of expertise. Works collaboratively with other Directors on performance issues, protocol standardization, performance appraisals, and resource utilization. Performs patient testing as needed.

The position manages a defined area (echocardiography) of organized cardiovascular services. Actively participates in organizational leadership functions and collaborations with other organizational leaders and medical staff in designing and providing CV diagnostic services. Allocate available resources to promote safe, efficient, effective and accurate CV services. Provide input into executive level decisions and keep staff informed of executive level activities. Provides direction to staff to promote quality services over multiple acute, outpatient and ambulatory sites. Responsible for ensuring consistent guidelines, protocols and standards across the health care system for CV services within the appropriate timeframe. Maintains high patient satisfaction. Coordinates planning, promotion and growth of CV services. Coordinates hiring, orienting, developing, coaching, mentoring, counseling and terminating of employees. Has 24 hour, 7 days a week accountability. Assumes other roles and responsibilities as directed by the System Director.
