The Director for Baystate Medical Center’s Heart and Vascular Cardiac Invasive Services serves as the leader for the cardiac invasive services areas and is the conduit between senior leaders and the amazing staff that serve our patients. The Director is responsible for ensuring best in class care is delivered to our patients in these areas including the HV Operating Room, Care Unit, EP lab and Cath lab, while keeping the Baystate Health compass points of Safety, Quality, Patient Experience and Value at the heart of everything we do. Our clinical directors are responsible for ensuring the standard of care and quality are at the highest levels, and that our patients' needs are central to our operating model.
The Director of Cardiac Invasive Services will be responsible for overseeing and managing the management and staff (approximately 125 FTE’s) within these areas while providing 24-hour accountability for all patient care activities. The Director will be in charge of the planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of goals and objectives, and attending all meetings relevant to the operation of this specialty discipline. This is a Service line role and the Director will also act as a liaison between the lab and other departments across Baystate Health. The Director will oversee quality initiatives and will work with a number of nurses and radiology technicians. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior Cath Lab / EP lab /HV Operating Room management experience.

8-10+ years’ experience leading cardiac invasive services areas, as well as current RN licensure in the state of MA. A Master’s degree is also required.
