Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Director of Cardiac Cath Lab directs operations of the cardiac catheterization department and is accountable for all personnel functions, supply management, physician relations, patient satisfaction, compliance and fiscal management.  Responsible for supply systems, maintenance of significant equipment systems, coordination of activities with other departments, physician-staff communications, maintenance of the physical environment and compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. 


The Director also takes part in the catheterization procedures, performing various tasks, evaluating the patient and supervising the overall operations.  Communication in this role typically involves interacting with departmental personnel, physicians, patients, nursing service personnel, and radiology.

  • Current Missouri RN license, BSN preferred.
  • 5-7years of work experience as a registered nurse
  • Master's degree in health, business or related field, OR enrollment in a graduate program with an anticipated completion date within in three (3) years of hire or transfer into the position
