Facebook is looking for an experienced and inspirational global leader with a strong background in web and mobile content to transform the experience for Facebook advertisers around the world and drive the business. You will lead a team of over 40 content developers, content strategists, and instructional designers responsible for creating and managing high-quality educational and support content at massive scale for users of our Business Help Centers and Facebook Blueprint, our advertiser education program. This role requires an obsession with creating an amazing customer experience and scalable and efficient processes. Strong organizational and analytical skills are critical for success in this role.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Understand the global content lifecycle (translation, adaptation, and other systems), and partner with our cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
  • Use data and research to evaluate your content's impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows real business results
  • Identify opportunities to partner with other orgs to ensure a consistent and cohesive content strategy across Facebook
  • Create a global content framework in collaboration with Facebook functional leaders that encompasses audiences ranging from college students and job seekers to our most advanced agency and client based advertisers
  • Partners with the broader global organization to develop and execute compelling content that is aligned with ongoing business initiatives and the corporate narrative but is focused on the needs of our advertisers and drives high engagement among targeted audience
  • Support the creation of learning products and content that boost performance and knowledge across all relevant content areas
  • Establish a content strategy to provide clear guidance on optimal content types usage. This work will include benchmarking existing industry solutions and developing new tools and programming in highly innovative ways to support our content strategy
  • Communicate and get cross-functional leadership buy-in on content strategy
  • Collaborate with business and product leaders to establish content metrics
  • Build and manage strategic resource allocation to support both short and long-term business needs
  • Lead the team program owners to set and execute the content strategy
  • Establish content development and quality goals for the content organization
  • Ad hoc analysis and audits to ensure quality and accuracy and examine activity and improve operational efficiency
  • Manage a team of vertical content leads to drive performance
  • Be accountable for all scope, budget and resource planning
  • Participate as an active thought partner and team member to the Leadership team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • BA/BS Degree
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in leading content development and/or strategy
  • Demonstrated experience with design and development of content strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in driving innovation and change to improve efficiencies and the effectiveness of content development, delivery, and management
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and consulting with senior leaders, business partners, internal customers, and colleagues to drive business results
  • Experience in communication, consulting, stakeholder management, relationship management and influencing experience at all levels—internally and externally
  • Knowledge with Content Management Systems (CMS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other industry standard tools
