POSITION SUMMARY:


The Business Development Director reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and is responsible for growing the FacilitySource Business through the acquisition of new clients. The candidate will organize, lead, and execute balanced sales growth from a pipeline of FacilitySource prospects and target accounts. They will be focused on profitable new business growth; selling deals with a high implementation success rate and have a long-term multi-year perspective on deal making and client development.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Capture profitable new business for FacilitySource

Identify opportunities with targets and prospects, striving to sell the full suite of FacilitySource services to these clients

Engage marketing and service line or “trade” expertise to refine service offerings for specific deal or market segments

Partner consistently with delivery and solution personnel as one team in front of the customer

Create compelling and unstoppable proposals through outstanding communication and presentation skills

Strive to execute perfection on critical RFPs and pursuits, driving the team to do the very best work and to always be prepared

Perform the necessary tasks to ensure robust sales operations and management reporting, including but not limited to: Establishing goals, analyzing growth and providing accurate, complete, and timely submission of required progress reports, forecast, and status of opportunities in the company’s salesforce.com system

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Consultative seller who develops relationships quickly and works to understand the client’s needs/wants

Can identify objections quickly and overcome them, and can identify who in an organization is making the buying decision and who are the key influencers

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of FacilitySource services, solutions, and offerings

Team player who can collaborate with delivery/solution organizations for added value

Aggressive seller who is able to forge relationships with C-level executives, VPs and Directors as well as key line of procurement contacts

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

5+ years of proven experience with large scale sales and account management

Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred and/or equivalent combinations of education and experience

National outsourcing solution sales experience ideally in the facilities industry

Skilled in new business pursuit process and tools

Possesses deep Retail/Grocery/Restaurant industry expertise or related industries

Experience working closely with service delivery counterparts

Proven track record of closing multi-year 7 figure services deals

Proven track record of attaining and exceeding quota

Previous experience call on FacilitySource clients is a plus

Strong communication and presentation skills required

Ability to actively network and mine leads to create opportunities when needed
