Reporting directly to the V.P. Chief of Staff of Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH), the Director of Board Administration assures that all activities relating to the internal operations of HMH, and Board activities are performed and executed in an efficient and expedient manner. This position will work closely with the Chief of Staff to develop and implement internal procedures, support the central coordination of activities (operations, budget and planning), meeting organization, agendas and presentations, and develop all key Board communications and supporting documents for Board Committee and general board meetings. The position will also serve as project manager for special projects that are identified by the CEO and/or the Chief of Staff. Being effective in this position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to build strong, trusting partnerships across the organization.
1.Provide organizational support to the V.P. Chief of Staff to ensure action items, deadlines, and deliverables are completed. 2.Work with the Chief of Staff to develop and review all materials for HMH's various Boards including the Network Board, the Hospital Corporation Board, and the Carrier Clinic Board. 3.Provide planning support for CEO events. 4.Project manager for special projects as designated by the Chief of Staff or CEO. 5.Review and oversee all internal executive level communications and Board communications. 6.Conduct research and prepare presentations for the CEO and/or the Chief of Staff on an array of topics. 7.Coordinate sponsorship and foundation activities. 8.Represent the Chief of Staff at internal meetings. 9.Other duties and/or projects as assigned. 10.Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
2.Minimum of 10 years of work experience seasoned professional who demonstrates good judgement.
3.Demonstrated and successful project leadership experience.
4.Strong business acumen.
6.Strong writing and presentation skills.
7.Advanced presentation skills and demonstrated proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
8.Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
9.Demonstrated ability to problem solve and resolve conflict.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
1.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
2.Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations. Licenses and Certifications Required: Licenses and Certifications Preferred.
