Because these are newly established senior roles, the selected individuals will have the opportunity (and be expected) to help shape the HR organization drawing from their extensive experience, perspective and passion to help build a team where each member makes the others better.

What you’ll dive into

At the most basic level, the individuals in these roles, together with their client group leaders, are responsible for ensuring we are attracting, retaining and deploying talent effectively, efficiently and in alignment with our values. These positions:

  • Are the “next generation” of the HR Business Partner, working side-by-side with their business units/functional executives driving Organizational Effectiveness (OE), drawing upon extensive business and HR acumen to provide advice and counsel
  • Will be proactive partners with senior leadership to ensure the right prioritization of human capital investments deliver on the business objectives and the company’s strategy and will set the vision for HR within the client group
  • Will proactively lead and serve as the internal consultant for designing and driving talent transformation and change, including providing insight, education and perspective to discussions and decisions relating to talent, organizational change management, and people development (considering future talent, bench strength, gaps and strategies to close those gaps)
  • Will, over time, manage HRBPs and/or Project Managers, including all the care and feeding required to build, engage and develop high quality team members
  • Will establish and set the day-to-day priorities for the team

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

These positions require a bachelor’s degree in business, human resources management, organizational develop or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and 10+ years of progressive leadership experience as an HR Business Partner or HR COE leader. The positions require experience working in sophisticated environments, where the expectations of human resources were high and you were challenged and expected to performance using modern and innovative practices, building and utilizing processes, tools, techniques and experiences accelerated execution or avoided risk. The ideal candidates will have a mix of experience in small, entrepreneurial companies and medium-to-large multi-national companies and a demonstrated capability to operate effectively in both. In addition, the ideal candidates will have the experience and perspective gained from multiple years of experiencesupporting a multi-national workforce (EU in particular).

Critical Skills

  • Deep and broad knowledge of HR practices, principles and procedures based on functioning in or working closely with colleagues across the HR function (talent, performance, compensation, compliance, etc.) and internal partners (COEs, Finance, etc.)
  • Experience designing and implementing talent strategies that accelerate the client group priorities and the overall business strategy
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to create and lead highly effective/efficient and successful teams and create a work atmosphere that high quality professionals want to be a part of; experience working in environments that drove excellence, held high standards and took a practical, but creative/innovative approach to human capital
  • Experience managing projects, including defining scope, managing budgets, driving deliverables, meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities
  • Well-developed analytical skills and problem-solving skills, and the ability to “connect the dots” between the business needs and how we can best meet those needs
  • Strategic orientation and critical thinking skills with ability align and integrate disparate talent management programs toward holistic global approach with respect toward localization and business applicability
  • Advanced interpersonal, listening and communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills, and a track record of effectively communicating with and influencing at all levels, including providing critical feedback and the ability to help our executives, managers and employees navigate through difficult situations
  • Strong people and organizational skills to lead, build and develop a global team and elevate the HR delivery model in multiple, global locations
  • Experience successfully leading and managing organizational change
