The challenge

The Director of Americas Enterprise Field Marketing will be responsible for leading several hardworking and highly effective leaders and their teams (with employees in the U.S., Canada and Latin America) to develop the Americas field marketing and ABM strategy across a set of large enterprise named accounts. You should have deep experience with ABM and working directly with Sales to support large, enterprise deal cycles.

The position requires a motivated individual with energetic leadership skills, strong communication, and organization to drive a team through planning, execution and reporting of a mix of one-to-one, one-to-few, and one-to-many programs to drive and accelerate pipeline. You are data driven by design and creative by nature – driving the evolution of field marketing metrics to show impact as well as pushing for innovation across all event types.

What you'll do


  • Drive annual Americas field marketing strategy aligned to the sales go-to-market to meet or exceed pipeline and business critical metrics. Plans should be inclusive of program strategy defined by return on investment analysis, field and product priorities, stakeholder collaboration and forecasted results
  • Deliver/present results in QBRs to senior leaders and executives across the organization
  • Create strategic partnerships between field marketers and account executives to ensure ABM programs are addressing field priorities in an effective way
  • Manage a team of 20+ and ensure consistency in the development and reporting of account-based plans and programs
  • Evolve team's program metrics to provide deeper insights in the how/why of what they do
  • Partner with Demand Gen/Digital and Marketing Operations leaders to integrate in-person efforts with programmatic ABM campaigns
  • Evolve field marketing's use of technology to ensure a seamless flow of leads/engagement form events into MAP or CRM for sales team to maximize pipeline generation and progression
  • Establish best practices shared with regional counterparts, and the rest of the Marketing organization

What you'll need to succeed


  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise marketing – at least 10-12 managing events and working directly with sales
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience of people management and track record of building high-performing teams
  • Experience with ABM to drive demand, conversion and deepen executive relationships
  • Experience in developing creative, innovate event formats that align to adapting business needs
  • Experience having direct accountability for building and accelerating pipeline for sales
  • Fluency in managing event budgets across teams, vendors, and
  • Ability to effectively manage senior leaders in a fast-paced, cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, project and time management skills.
  • Detail oriented, data-driven marketer with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to use CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
