JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Performance Improvement/Quality has responsibility for all clinical program activities and treatment services provided in assigned program. The Director of Performance Improvement/Quality is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient clinical programming, staffing, selection and supervision of core and variable staff, budgeting and compliance with hospital and regulatory agency standards. The Director of Performance Improvement/Staff Development promotes patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic.

The Director of Performance Improvement/Staff Development must demonstrate flexibility and the knowledge and skills required to manage units providing care to a varied population including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients. Education:Masters Degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology or related field. Experience:3 years clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population, previous clinical supervisory role in a psychiatric setting preferred
Licensure/ Certification:Licensure/certification in applicable clinical profession Knowledge:Prefer knowledge of general and psychiatric principles in program patient population, biopsychosocial treatment strategies, leadership skills, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management.
Supervision Received:CEO Supervision Exercised:PI Manager, Director of Medical Records. Consult with Staff to include Nurses, Counselors, Social Workers, Allied Therapists, Teachers, MHTs and Secretary with the appointed supervisor. Line of Promotion:From this position: , COO

Physical Requirements:Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Physical agility to manage patients. Push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping. Drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen.
