Responsible for identifying and driving the market intelligence and business research necessary for strategic planning, business development and transformation initiatives. Develops and articulates roadmaps to promote alignment between The MetroHealth System (MHS) enterprise level and service line/department strategy. Ensures that the strategic decision-making processes have access to and incorporate evidence-based decision support information, integrated market analysis of national, state and local conditions, consumer insight “voice of the consumer” and a strong strategic and business planning knowledge base. Collaborates with various MHS administrative, academic and business unit personnel to accomplish such studies, analyses, or proformas as required. Ensures operating efficiency and fiscal effectivess of assigned function. Manages assigned personnel. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline and Ten years experience in marketing, strategic planning, market research / analytics, business development, project management, service / consulting or operations, preferably related to healthcare with demonstrated results. OR in lieu of Master’s degree will accept Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline and 15 years experience in marketing, strategic planning, market research / analytics, business development, project management, service / consulting or operations, preferably related to healthcare with demonstrated results.
• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in the context of a large, highly complex academic health center.
• Highly developed personal, communication, analytic, and oral and written presentation skills.
Knowledge of the Northeast Ohio healthcare market, and emotional intelligence training
May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day.
May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
