The EPAWSS (Eagle Passive Active Warning and Survivability System) Program, part of the TacAir Product Line, is one of Electronic Combat Solutions' most strategic program portfolios. Currently under contract with Boeing for nearly $1B in funding to execute development, production and sustainment contracts.
The EPAWSS Director of Operations holds overall responsibility for portfolio program performance, ensuring all cost and schedule commitments are met. The Director partners with Program Directors, cross-functional staff, and Operations Program Managers (OPMs) to ensure the timely and budgetary execution of all operations activities. Key responsibilities include managing operations content for production, development, and sustainment programs; ensuring material requirements are satisfied; executing non-recurring efforts such as Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) redesigns and Test Program Set maturation; driving funded affordability initiatives to closure; and optimizing factory equipment and capacity to meet production rates and sustainment transitions.
Required Skills and Education- BA/BS and 10-12+ years of related experience or MS with 8-10+ years of related experience
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with proven expertise in hiring, training, and talent development.
- High level of business and financial acumen, with proven ability to manage scope and budget
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of the product lifecycle from development through sustainment
- Demonstrated proficiency in Earned Value Management Systems and Cost Account Management best practices with a strong track record of successful program and project management.
- Experience with proposals
- Strong level of understanding of the entire Supply Chain (Forecasts through Material Delivery.)
Preferred Skills and Education- PMP, Agile, or other related Certifications
- Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies
