The Director of Human Resources develops and implements strategies that align human resources activities and priorities with the operational and strategic short-term and long-term objectives of the facility/facilities. Provide Human Resources leadership that delivers innovative, value-added counsel, resolution and remedies to Human Resources related issues that challenge management in a manner that ensures the attraction, retention and development of employees, through effective and credible relationship-building with managers, the Executive Team and key customers. The Director of Human Resources provides overall management and strategic leadership of the Human Resources Department. Representing Human Resources, the Director is responsible for employee and patient safety, compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards associated with Human Resources, budgetary duties and fiscal performance of the Human Resources department, leadership of Human Resources team members, resource development and implementation of process changes and establishment, measurement, reporting and audit of Human Resource Department Performance Metrics.
Bachelor's degree or commensurate Human Resources work experience and education. Master's Degree is preferred.
Minimum of ten (10) years of supervisory/management in Human Resources in an acute hospital setting is required.
SPHR/PHR/CHHR or CP-SHRM certification required within 2 years of placement in the position.
