SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Vice President, Facilities and Support Services, manages construction and renovation for the Hospital property (owned and leased) by serving as theHospital's representative in working directly with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants in designing, engineering, estimating/budgeting, evaluating, building, equipping, and preparing for use.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years experience, prefer 3 years in a hospital/healthcare setting.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Familiar with Joint Commission Standards; NFPA requirements and all state and local building codes for health care facilities, CADD Databases.
OTHER: Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: Valid operator's license Preferred: PE (Professional Engineer) Certification
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Construction Related, Helpful: Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Architecture
