The Director, Portfolio US will lead a cross-functional team of sales, technical, and vendor management professionals and be responsible for development and execution of a portfolio of SAAS vendors go to market strategy to achieve financial goals. This position is based in Buffalo, NY.

Our ideal candidate for the Director, Portfolio US role has:

  • A BA or additional relevant experience in a related field (MBA strongly preferred)
  • A minimum of 10 years of IT channelexperience; As a service experiencepreferred.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsibleexperience in sales, alliances, business development, and marketing with strong leadership experience
  • 8+ years of first and second level management experience driving true P&L cost centers 
  • 5+ years of cloud computing/As a service experiencepreferred
  • Proven experience developing and executing strategic growth business plan including securing needed investment to deliver expected business outcomes
  • Experience in go to market execution supporting SaaS solutions/companies
  • Strong knowledge of IT professional and managed services
  • Understanding of channelbusiness models including value added resellers, managed service providers, telecom, hosters, system integrators, and ISV’s
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Experience working with cross functional roles such as product management, customer support, and service delivery
  • Understanding of Ingram Micro's core competencies and resources
  • Extensive experience in developing customer and vendor relationships
  • Exceptional skills in building and inspiring innovative and agile teams of leaders
  • Proven skills to manage a large business in matrixed organizations
  • Problem-solving skills, conceptual and analytical skills with a proven ability to turn findings into executable plans
  • Excellent oral, written, listening and formal presentation skills including the ability to communicate and sell ideas
