ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
Directly supervise clinical staff in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Attend and actively participate in Performance Improvement and Department Head meetings to problem solve and promote open communication among peers and other staff.
Oversee the Child Acute unit with clinical assistance of the Director of Nursing.This includes staffing, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and quality improvement.
Maintain close working relationships with in-state and out-of-state representatives, coordinating activities and ensuring all clinical requirements are met.
Approve, initiate, interpret, revise, and enforce policies and directives for efficient administration.Supplement policies with written guidelines and procedures.Assist in the development of manuals, guides, records and other information materials of the program as required.
Assure compliance with applicable government regulations and operating requirements of the contracting authorities.
Make long-range plans and schedules for programs and staff.Set goals and establish objectives to achieve such plans.
Direct the activities of all clinical programs, assign duties, and delegate authority to accomplish directives.
Plan and provide leadership to all treatment programs of the facility.
Develop and maintain close working relationships and good public relations with relevant public and private agencies within the community.Assist in educating the community about facility programs and services as needed.
Manage the clinical assessment and evaluation process and provide consultation to determine the most appropriate interventions consistent with clients’ needs.
Consistently monitor and review client progress reports to ensure quality of care and services are provided to each client; attend client reviews and groups on an as needed basis.
Ensure the effective and successful operation of the facility by performing other duties and responsibilities as needed, by assuming AOC responsibilities, and by responding to significant, unusual occurrences on 24-hour/7-day a week basis.
Actively participate in Performance Improvement efforts, including supporting ongoing evaluation and improvement of clinical programming.
Participate on committees and task forces on and off campus to represent the facility as needed.
Attend staff development training to ensure relevant material is utilized to compete with the changing job market, to comply with overall training requirements of the facility, and to enhance professional development.
Project a positive image and maintain an effective working relationship and good rapport with members of all departments and in the community.
Maintain positive relationships with clients by treating them in a respectful manner at all times, by encouraging clients’ cooperation, and by maintaining appropriate boundaries.
Clinical Supervision to license – eligible therapists.
GA Fidelity and Tricare Monitoring Reports.
All other duties as assigned.
