Directs the programs and staff of the respiratory therapy department. Develops and implements respiratory care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Relies on extensiveexperience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A widedegree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typicallyreports to top management.
Must be a graduate of an AMA approved program in Respiratory Care.
Must be credentialed by the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Hold a valid license in the State of NM to practice respiratory care.
Three years experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
Preferred: Previous respiratory care managerial experience.
