The Digital/Web Content Strategist is responsible for championing best practices, identifying new opportunities, and representing the consumer within Cambia’s digital experiences across all our Regence, Asuris, and BridgeSpan health plan brands. They will work closely with multiple areas of the business to understand and translate organizational need into strategic direction for web messaging, information hierarchies, and content relationships. This role requires a basic understanding and appreciation of digital trends, UX/UI design, copywriting, SEO, content management systems, and product marketing. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong writing skills, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in collaborative multi-disciplinary work sessions with organizational stakeholders, shepherding content and messaging from strategy to execution for the web
- Craft creative briefs with stakeholder input and present to creative and product teams to initiate content creation
- Maintain site map, navigation, and content relationship workflows to ensure web content is in line with consumer journeys
- Analyze metrics to evaluate overall effectiveness and use data to drive, and develop, strategic recommendations for integrated marketing, messaging and content tactics
- Propose and manage regular web content updates to maintain site with fresh, relevant content
- Maintain and evolve Cambia’s digital content standards, including voice, branding, and tone
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to clearly and concisely distill complex subject matter down to actionable direction
- Understanding of data personalization and dynamic content workflows
- Experience managing relational page structure and/or site maps
- Project management experience, with ability to scope, organize and execute multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Experience managing workflows and deliverables from colleagues across various departments in the organization
- Experience in planning content calendars and managing scheduled content web updates through a content management tool
- Utilize data and research to evaluate and monitor engagement rates and determine success
- Experience in health care supporting both B2B and B2C a plus
- Experience conducting content audits a plus
Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed above:
The Digital/Web Content Strategist would have a BA or MA degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Experience Design, Advertising or related field and 5+ years of experience in creating, writing or strategizing digital content.
