Job Description

KPNX 12 News in beautiful Phoenix, AZ is looking for the right Digital Sales Manager?to lead our digital sales efforts, including Premion, TEGNA’s OTT solution. The DSM will be at the forefront of developing the strategic plan to grow digital sales amongst existing clients, demonstrating the value of digitalcampaigns and expanding sales opportunities to new markets and clients. The right person will also oversee the post-sale workflow process to ensure campaigns are executed and fulfilled on time and accurately. Analyzing the effectiveness of campaigns and suggesting upgrades or changes to the client is also part of the role. You will be in charge of training team members on our digital product suite features and benefits and providing coaching and development to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. Collaborating with other Sales Managers to drive integrated sales opportunities is a must. This position reports to Director of Sales.

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Complete appropriate business activity reports and forecasts as required
  • Drive profitable growth through management of ad inventory across station site and audience extension networks
  • Price and package new interactive products and report on their success or challenges
  • Create and maintain smooth workflow processes between station and digital fulfillment teams
  • Be a student of the ever-changing digitallandscape and stay current with digital trends within all the different digital products and platforms

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in digital media including sales and post-sale execution of campaigns
  • A track record of successfully generating revenue for company and advertisers using multiple platforms and long-term strategies
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills along with great time management and organizational skills
  • Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with short sales cycles
  • College degreepreferred but not required
