Our team members are collaborative, creative, professional, expert and entrepreneurial.  Joining our team requires skill, daring, leadership, teaming, humor and a love of interiors.  We are presently searching for a Digital Marketing Specialist to reside in our Chicago office.  The Digital Marketing Specialist oversees the digital marketing strategy for the company.  The Digital Marketing Specialist, in conjunction with the Managing Director of Global Marketing, will develop and execute digital marketing and digital content strategies while building greater audience engagement, enhancing brand visibility, and driving both digital and business growth for IA.  The individual in this position must be able to handle multiple projects at once and be able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities. 

This position reports to the Managing Director of Global Marketing. 

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Manage blog content entry and deployment

  • Curating content from clients and collaborators for distribution across digital properties

  • Collaborate with digital media related vendors (i.e., Critical Impact, Knowledge Architecture, etc.)

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and platforms.  Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption

  • Maintain website updates/CMS if available

  • Research and write blog posts

  • Engage and drive storytelling liaisons in individual markets to ensure equal and even representation under the firm’s brand

  • Design our social media presence, oversee the build out and maintenance.

  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize ad budgets (if determined necessary) and content performance based on the insights

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create digital marketing campaigns and optimize user experience

  • Populate and deploy asset packages for all video programs (additional photography, graphics, etc)

  • Source and research videographer for IA opportunities

  • Monitor and maintain tags and platform migrations

  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies

  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests

  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

  • Plan and assist in the execution of all web, SEO/SEM, social media advertising campaigns

  • Knowledge and/or practical application of digital media related to online marketing such as video and animation

  • Report metrics and provide analyses of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

     REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • BS/MS in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 5 years’ experience in marketing support of interior design, construction, engineering, architecture, or related industry.

     REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns

  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript development and constraints

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
