As a member of the Marketing & Digital Analytics team at Capital Group, you will be a key leader on the team that develops and optimizes actionable analytics solutions to address challenges such as marketing effectiveness, ROI, brand awareness and loyalty, and optimal digital lead sources.    In this role you will partner with marketing teams to optimize cross-channel marketing campaign impact and effectiveness.  You will build models to score marketing content and channel preferences for both B2B and B2C clients. You will be the go-to subject matter expert for marketing and your analytical models will summarize and visualize data in a way that marketers will love.  Creativity, pro-activeness, and a desire to collaborate will be critical for success. Passion for learning on the job is a pre-requisite for success.   • Practical analytics, with an eye to generating actionable market insights that help our clients identify smarter marketing decisions
  • Build marketing attribution models that are easy to understand and communicate insights to marketing leadership to drive business success
  • Lead Capital Group’s digital analytics thought leadership in data-mining and big-data analytics applications
  • Ensure rigorous quality control over data, analyses, and integration
  • Collaborate with marketing strategy team to prioritize projects with actionable insights and analytical/technical best practices that you drive through implementation
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across the organization to provide and improve our end-to-end solution and implement new analytics capabilities: data management, modeling, marketing optimization, digital marketing strategy

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in digital marketing analytics covering paid media, social, email and web
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with digital AdTech with thorough understanding of digital metrics and KPIs is desirable
  • Experience in marketing attribution, call to action analysis, targeting and next best actions
  • Proven experience in applying data mining and statistical techniques to solve large-scale information retrieval, online search, online advertising attribution, online/offline marketing optimization problems
  • Expertise in  tableau, SQL, HTML, Alteryx or other languages to process/extract/integrate data and regression techniques using panel data and time series data
  • Knowledge of Adobe Site Catalyst, Adobe Target, Exact Target
  • Experience with R, Python, Matlab or a similar statistical analysis tool is desirable 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree highly preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues from a variety of areas including technical teams, business strategists, and marketing
  • Financial services experience a plus
