Workday is looking for a passionate Digital Marketing Manager to join the Digital Marketing & Technology team. This position will partner with Event Marketing, as well as various cross-functional teams (i.e. Digital Optimization, Creative Services, Web Production, Marketing Technology, and QA) to manage digitalexperiences for events from inception through execution. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the creation and maintenance of digitalexperiences for events, as well as contributing to process improvement with the working teams. The ideal candidate will have digital marketing expertise, strong project management capabilities, hands on experience working in content management systems, and excellent stakeholder relationship skills.


  • Manage digitalexperiences for events in partnership with Event Marketing from inception through execution.

  • Develop long-term strategic goals for digitalexperiences.

  • Drive and coordinate cross-functional teams of stakeholders, writers, designers, web producers, developers, and QA leads to create and maintain digitalexperiences for events.

  • Consult with extended teams on user experience, SEO, SEM, optimization, testing, and analytics to deliver measurable and successful digitalexperiences.

  • Lead and mentor web producers, which may include the management of their work.

  • While the majority of webpage production will be delegated to Web Production, this role will be responsible for some production work in Adobe Experience Manager.

  • Contribute to process improvement to maximize efficiencies in creating digitalexperiences.

  • Stay current on latest trends and opportunities in digital marketing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong understanding of digital best practices and standards.

  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to “turn on a dime”, think through problems and come up with innovative solutions, and deliver against very tight deadlines.

  • Expert project management skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to problem solve, lead, influence, create visibility, and motivate others.

  • Experience working directly with stakeholders, Creative Services, Web Production, Development, and QA teams.

  • Simultaneously lead and coordinate with others on multiple projects and tasks.

  • Ability to think globally.

  • Experience with content management systems, analytics tools, and project management software. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Workfront, or Rally a plus.

  • Enterprise software and/or B2B experience highly desirable.
