The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Digital Marketing within our Marketing team. The position will be responsible for growing pipeline, increasing brand awareness, and improving lead engagement across all stages of the buyer’s journey. Overall, the Digital Marketing function is responsible for the strategy and implementation of digital advertising (LinkedIn, Google, display), email automation, social media, SEO, website optimization, and our HubSpot instance. The Digital Marketing Manager will contribute to all facets of digital marketing, but will specifically be responsible for running multi-channel campaigns, social media strategy and community management, and email marketing strategy.
The Stardog marketing team values excellent communication (whether internal or external), empathy for our prospects, and a results-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have a desire to own and manage digital marketing programs and feel confident interfacing with members of our Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams, who will be frequent collaborators. Additionally, the candidate will be excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment and be invigorated by new ideas and opportunities for leadership.
Digital advertising: Develop, implement, and optimize ad campaigns across the digital landscape including paid search, paid social, display, remarketing, and other online marketing channels. Optimize targeting, messaging and channels for lead qualification and acceleration. Improve brand awareness about Stardog in key industries.
Email marketing and nurturing: Own nurturing prospects throughout the inbound customer journey digitally through email. The role will work cross-functionally to understand the email needs of the organization and ultimately build a framework that augments our full-funnel marketing plans. Teammate will work with demand generation and product marketing to optimize segments, campaigns, performance dashboards, and create stronger triggers based on behaviors to alter nurture paths.
Social media: Quickly assess the landscape of challenges and opportunities within all of the Stardog social media properties. Create and execute strategies for Twitter and LinkedIn. Manage day-to-day reactive and proactive communications on all key social media channels.
Plan and manage the publishing calendar, social objectives, messaging, writing of posts, sourcing or creating the visual images for these posts, aligning to the overall product and marketing plan.
Help the sales team with social selling and online lead engagement.
Campaign optimization: Drive continuous optimization across all facets of campaigns by partnering with demand generation and product marketing. Continually measure, monitor and drive improvement in program approaches; employ industry best practices and look for opportunities to increase effectiveness. Be the point of contact for related vendors and agencies, as needed.
Reporting: Set, measure, track and report on marketing contribution and program goals.
