The Digital Marketing Manager will serve as the primary marketing lead for Libbey’s digitalretailchannel. This role will primarily lead all pure-play and customer .com site planning, analysis and development of category insights. This role will lead key projects and initiatives as the primary interface between marketing and sales. Successful candidates will have experience with ecommerce business concepts related to digital product marketing, market research, analytics, promotion and online marketing strategies. Amazon.comexperience is highly preferred, along with solid business and financial acumen.

This role will be a part of the Libbey digital team based in Columbus, OH, which is dedicated to Libbey’s digital transformation. This team is tasked with building new digital, ecommerce and related capabilities for the company to continue to build on its 200 years of success.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the digitalretail market channel expert, supporting theretail line of business and identifying opportunities to drive growth
  • Drive the creation of retaildigitalchannel strategies by partnering with sales and digital team leaders, including media planning, promotions, content opportunities and other digital tactics, to drive sales
  • Thorough understanding of Libbey’s digitalretail business, including price points and assortment of products
  • Work closely with sales leadership to develop digital marketing plans for key retailers
  • Responsible for the strategy, content planning and updates for retail.libbey.com
  • Identify market research needs and coordinate plans along with digital team leaders
  • Partner with sales to develop annual customer account plans and establish marketing priorities to achieve maximum profitable growth
  • Analyze sales and marketing data and utilize the information to make optimization recommendations
  • Work closely with the creative team to ensure that established branding strategies are enforced within specified categories of responsibility
  • Manage the development of marketing elements needed to support the business
  • Assure timely and accurate information, regarding all marketing efforts within the assigned channels, are shared transparently across the organization
  • Develop customer presentation tools to promote more unified digital sell-through messaging
  • Assist the Sr. Director, Digital Marketing and Experience with annual P&L process and monitoring budgets
  • Contribute to overall marketing efforts, understanding the importance of an efficient marketing function
  • When necessary, act in an interim digital marketing role to support Libbey’s foodservice business

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBApreferred
  • 5 years+ experience working in the ecommerce focused marketing of consumer products
  • Solid understanding and experience with digital marketing concepts, including SEO/SEM, analytics, content development and online advertising
  • 2 years experience in successfully marketing products on Amazon.com and pure-play sites, highly preferred
  • Prior experience with digital media planning, preferred
  • Prior experience with B2B marketing is desired
  • Superior presentation skills and comfort with a variety of audiences
  • Advanced interpersonal talents and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid MS Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Understanding and experience with SaaS products to supportdigital and ecommerce is preferred
  • Practiced strategic thinking and planning capability and experience
  • Ability to navigate through a complex, multi-regional organization
