Job Description:

Harris Corporation is seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Manager to join our Strategic Marketing team in Rochester, NY to build and strengthen our Communication Systems (CS) segment's digital footprint. The ideal candidate has a strong background in website management and content strategy that increases customer engagement, generates leads and promotes the brand. The Digital Marketing Manager needs to operate on both strategic and tactical levels and is experienced in providing creative insight to designers, writers and photographers. This candidate must have experience in developing content for websites and providing the technical expertise to ensure the content meets requirements and complies with standards. This position will be also be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Digital SEO Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain and improve the performance of our CS capability and solution pages
  • Develop digital marketing project specifications and ensures timely project releases
  • Involved in the development of web pages, microsites and campaign landing pages plans and specifications
  • Support the development and execution of Harris Corporate Headquarters digital content strategy
  • Plan and execute the migration of existing solution pages to new website
  • Collaborate with Strategic Marketing Managers to ensure all marketing campaigns convey the prioritized messages that drive business growth and that content is engaging to our visitors
  • Utilize digital channels and other tools as a source for harvesting market, voice of customer and competitive data and insights
  • Represent CS in cross-company initiatives related to website content, functionality, customer experience and social media
  • Recommend and implement appropriate metrics through consistent analysis of marketing campaign performance, including social media and web content activity and advise on ways to improve performance
  • Support development and implementation of integrated communications strategies and marketing campaigns involving creation of multimedia content for website and social postings, emails and digital advertising
  • Drive innovation by recommending and implementing improvements in digital content by monitoring industry trends, and staying abreast of new capabilities
  • Provide guidance regarding SEO to improve organic search results

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant digital marketing experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related digital marketing experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, web design, digital marketing or other related field
  • Experience in website management as webmaster or web producer
  • Experience in responsive web design for desktop, tablet and mobile devices, UX/UI design, SEO/SEM, Drupal or comparable CMS, Google Analytics, and development of a social media strategy
  • Experience in marketing, strategy or communications role in a large or global organization
  • Highly organized and motivated to work independently as needed
  • Excellent communications skills and attention to detail
  • Ability and desire to work in a dynamic environment, simultaneously managing multiple projects
  • Ability to successfully collaborate across business functions and across the enterprise
  • Experience managing web analytics, implementing digital campaigns, establishing metrics and monitoring performance and ROI
  • Expert with Javascript, CSS, HTML and Adobe Creative Suite to create or modify web assets -HTML5 expertise
  • Experience developing wireframes and mock-ups for stakeholder feedback
  • Experience working with Marketing Automation Platforms (eg. Click Dimensions, HubSpot, Marketo)
  • Experience working with Google Data Studio or Tableau for dashboards and web reports creation
