Reporting to the eCommerce Marketing Director, the Digital Marketing Manager, eCommerce will support and assist the eCommerce Marketing Director in day to day activities while managing on other department projects.
The Digital Marketing Manager, eCommerce will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring marketing campaigns that promote Olam’s Business to Business (B2B) eCommerce offerings. This position will play a major role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space, as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads and customers while supporting the eCommerce teams.
The Digital Marketing Manager, eCommerce will report to the eCommerce Marketing Director and will sit in Olam Food Ingredients (OFI), a new entity born out of Olam International. In a re-organization announced in January of 2020, OFI builds on the 30-year history of Olam. OFI offers sustainable, natural, value-added food products and ingredients so that consumers can enjoy the healthy and indulgent products they love. It consists of Olam’s industry-leading businesses of Cocoa, Coffee, Edible Nuts, Spices and Dairy. OFI has built a unique global value chain presence including its own farms, farm-gate origination and manufacturing facilities. OFI partners with customers, leveraging its complementary and differentiated portfolio of “on-trend” food products, to co-create solutions that anticipate and meet changing consumer preferences as demand increases for healthier food that’s traceable and sustainable.
To be successful, the ideal candidate will need to possess a strong degree of organization, prioritization skills and an ability to understand the Olam business, vision, goals, and organizational culture. As a member of the marketing team, the candidate must be a strong communicator, highly organized, able to handle multiple and competing priorities while maintaining a positive and solution-oriented attitude. Ability to push boundaries, try new and innovative ways of thinking about and doing things all while remaining focused on growing new eCommerce marketing channels will be required.
