The Wells Fargo In-House Agency is looking for a senior account person to join a newly forming three person digital transformation team and lead internal consumer product lines in leveraging social and mobile platforms leading to deep consumer engagement.
The team will sit in San Francisco. The team is joining a vibrant in-house agency that has gone through a transformation in the last 24 months, aligning teams to fit lines of business, tightening process to focus on clear and actionable assignments from internal clients, building a culture of inclusiveness and camaraderie. The opportunity for this team is elevate the quality of digital campaigns for the agency. The successful candidate is able to look at business objectives, (for example, grow share in a specific product market while driving engagement with our new digital platform) and create a plan/recommendation to achieve that objective. Specifically, a recommendation that builds an omni-channel approach showing how the target is exposed to our marketing and moves through the journey to becoming a customer.
The plan you create always starts with a relevant insight into the targeted consumer and builds an engagement program from that. When you receive an assignment that has a list of assets to be created you will have a ‘yes, and’ approach – yes, we will design those, and we also recommend an omni-channel approach to achieving the stated objective along with incremental assets that will deliver the desired outcomes.
This team will build presentations and present them to internal clients. The team may execute the plan to some level but will also be able to direct others in execution. The team will report back on KPIs and learnings and link them to the original recommendation.
You must be conversant in the traditional and latest social and mobile platforms – with deep understanding of how consumers interact with brands in these channels and what kinds of content/units win their engagement and loyalty. This is NOT a role creating ongoing content for a social channel, managing that content, etc., this is a campaign creation role.
You will be part of a three-person digital transformation team that will support product campaigns for various lines of business for consumer facing products while also helping raise the digital expertise of the In-House Agency.
You will have access to external media agency support (OMD) in planning, knowledge sharing, etc. The new team will be ready and able to set up meetings with outside social and mobile platform partners to leverage their expertise and support in building client facing omni-channel plans.
The serious candidate for the Sr. AE will have a plan/presentation/strategy deck, etc. demonstrating these competencies that they feel comfortable sharing during the interview process. Proprietary information can be removed from any content presented.

- 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: marketing, digital marketing, digital platforms, or social media
Other Desired Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of traditional and emerging social platforms
- Can articulate how consumers interact with brand content on these platforms and the value they bring to brands
- Know the cadence for the customer journey in product engagement/adoption and can plan where social/mobile/desktop/branch interactions connect in that flow.
- Confident in developing social and mobile channel plans that range from ad units to content partnerships, app based communications, influencer strategies, event activations, etc.
- Can read/report on KPIs in all channels, providing actionable analysis and learning, not just reporting on the data
