The DigitalEducation Director is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing new business opportunities and drive partnerships across the spectrum of Higher Education Institutions in order to increase the number of universities and colleges working with Knewton. This position reports to the local General Manager. We are looking for a highly detail-oriented, motivated sales professional with serious entrepreneurial drive and extraordinary flexibility to meet the demands of a high-energy start-up.
This is a great opportunity to:
? Advance sales and build customer relationships to maintain and expand market penetration through email, phone calls, and limited campus visits.
? Develop understanding and knowledge of Knewton Direct Higher Education products.
? Develop and maintain customer profiles, build new contacts/customers, identify and influence customer needs.
? Conduct virtual and in-person product demos for potential customers.
? Communicating internally and externally to influence sales.
? Work remotely full-time with up to 20-30% travel to close deals and develop customer partnerships.
? Targeted customer outreach to build and maintain pipeline.
? Close Knewton adoptions and earn cash!
What we are looking for:
? Minimum of two years experience in higher-education sales with a top performing track record.
? Passion for adaptive, personalized, mastery-based learning technology.
? Understanding of the buying and procuring processes of individual faculty, committees and administrators.
? Entrepreneurial and strategic skill set.
? Amiable and empathetic personality and approach to work.
? Bachelor's degree.
? Ability to quickly learn and apply subject matter taught in training.
? Ability to work in a team oriented, fast changing environment.
? Self-motivated, determined, and able to work independently and autonomously when needed.
? Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
? Detail oriented with demonstrated high level of organization and multitasking skills.
? Valid driver's license
? Proficiency with Mac operating system, Microsoft Office Suite (powerpoint, word and excel), Salesforce and Google productivity tools.
