The Director of Digital / Demand Marketing will be responsible for Inseego’s global digital marketing strategy and execution and will be the analytical leader to leverage multiple digital channels including email and drip campaigns, paid search, programmatic display, social media, SEO and affiliate marketing to drive full funnel campaigns at scale. We are in search of an experienced marketing thought-leader who can balance growing demand with driving revenue. One who loves to test out new creative tactics and believes that data wins debates. You’ll shape the go-to-market demand strategy to revenue targets and be charged with unifying sales, marketing, and our product roadmap into cohesive and compelling B2B campaigns. You will be integral to campaign strategy and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing Automation, including lead definitions and scoring. This role is sole contributor, reporting directly to the CMO at Inseego, and will work across functional teams, external agencies, freelance writers and marketing partners to build integrated digital programs that drive engagement, acquisition to meet company goals.   • Define and manage Inseego’s digital marketing strategy. Lead the strategy and execution of digital marketing programs to drive awareness and acquisition.
  • Develop, execute, and manage the digital marketing plan, budget and analytics to deliver required results.
  • Innovate in digital, email, ABM and social campaigns– test out new platforms, sites, partners and creative to enable Inseego to take on a leadership position in digital innovation.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to set processes, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure that efforts are aligned to key windows.
  • Partner with Business Analytics team on digital dashboard creation & publishing, report out and make optimization recommendations based on performance and learnings to key stakeholders.
  • Developing annual and in-year GTM strategies that are informed by business objectives, consumer intelligence, and category dynamics.
  • Owning financial performance and reporting - spend, ROI, and business case development.
  • Developing strategic campaign briefs that lead and inspire the coordinated activities of the team (marketing, sales, brand communications) and ensure timely and excellent execution.
  • Influencing decisions and strategy around adjacency market initiatives - new verticals.
  • Making key strategic recommendations that effectively balance near-term business targets with long-term, sustaining demand generation.
  • Reporting on ROI and campaign performance, guiding the team toward repeatable and scalable success.
  • Developing board-level presentations.
  • Facilitating priority discussions and decisions across multiple functional teams, as well as following up regularly with the sales team on the status of leads.
  • Leading team and group meetings.
  • Form strong relationship with Creative Manager and external agencies to ensure each campaign has required assets.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in marketing, communications or related field.
  • 6+ years of marketing or marketing consulting experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to be a strategic thought leader, and deep familiarity with a range of marketing channels including direct to consumer.
  • Thorough understanding of Direct Response digital marketing, with expert knowledge of optimization tactics, and KPI management for online/digital media.
  • Ample experience managing external agencies but also a proven track record of bringing all digital functions in-house.
  • Deep understanding of both multi-touch attribution and A/B testing models and how to optimize channels for best results.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing technology (tools & tech) including analytic packages, DMP’s, Ad Servers, search platforms and data onboarding solutions.
  • Hands on experience with the Google Marketing Platform including Analytics, DCM, Search Ads and GTM.
  • Demonstrated experience developing cutting edge strategies and leading their cross-functional implementation through an organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, intuitive grasp of data.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience generating and executing new marketing ideas for all digitalchannels.
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting for marketing campaigns
  • High level of detail with strong attention to follow-through, and the ability to prioritize and execute many tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Ability to identify key market trends and translate data into ideas.
  • Experience working with development teams to execute web projects.
  • Takes direction well; can work independently in most situations.

  • Strong personality; willingness to push sales team to report on lead response.
