Job Description:

At Regions, the Digital Content Strategist delivers best-in-class customer experiences. Works in a highly collaborative, creative and agile team that constantly pushes the envelope on its deliverables. Understands that content strategy is more than just writing and considers the whole customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Writes new copy and edit or proof existing copy for digital and mobile user experiences
  • Creates content for large and small projects and ongoing maintenance
  • Creates and presents sales-oriented and brand–relevant content that meets customer needs and business goals
  • Engages and collaborates with business partners, stakeholders and Customer Experience team members for feedback and validation on both long-term and short-term online content strategies
  • Acts as project lead, coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams, estimating scope and sizing, and handling escalations
  • Develops and modifies style guides and standards
  • Represents the team to the rest of the organization

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.


  • Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or related
  • Five (5) years experience providing web content strategy, site audits and analysis for public facing websites and/or mobile devices
  • Good understanding of user-centered design methodology, Search Engine Optimization keywords and metadata
  • Experience working with various stakeholders for content approval, including legal and compliance
  • Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ablility to work on multiple projects at once


  • eCommerce and/or banking industry knowledge is a plus

Additional Responsibilities

  • Reviews and edits all copy for digital and mobile user experiences
  • Leads content strategy for Regions Mobile App
  • Manages and develops alert and outage messages across all digital platforms
