As a Digital Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing digital hardware solutions to be used in Qualcomm's leading-edge Snapdragon mobile SoCs as well as SoCs for adjacent market such as automotive, machine-learning, and compute. A successful candidate must be able to translate complex specifications into robust, high-quality designs which meet aggressive area, power, and performance specifications while operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Understanding of advanced low-power techniques and exposure to synthesis, design verification, and deep submicron CMOS logic is expected. Opportunities will exist to work at a micro-architectural level, developing or improving SoC-level solution, exploring trade-offs with SysC-based or other modeling, and then working closely with other design teams to implement the specification. All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

2+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications Strong critical thinking, problem solving and design skills.

Development experience from the micro-architectural level through netlist delivery

General knowledge in ASIC design process, digital design, design (hw/sw) verification tools and techniques, computer architecture, etc.

Familiar with the design and assertion languages: RTL, SystemVerilog, SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA), VHDL, Verilog, etc.

ASIC design experience including architecture, RTL design in Verilog/VHDL, low power design techniques, UPF.

Experience with synthesis, and timing closure.

Experience with DC, LINT, PTSI, and CDC.

Experience working in a multi-disciplinary, global team focused on advanced, high volume SoC devices

Scripting and automation skills: Unix/Linux shell programming, Perl, Python, Makefile, Revision management (e.g. Clearcase, CVS, & DesignSync) is a plus.

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
